FS-063 Langanes

The long travel in this tour can be quite rewarding in terms of birdwatching, particularly at the breeding cliffs at Skoruvíkurbjarg were tens of thousands of auks and guillemots are easily approached, including the uncommon Brunnich’s Guillemot.  

Photoopportunuties are hardly better anywhere for the guillemots.  There are many other excellent birding spots on the way so a single day trip  to Langanes should reach 55-60 species of birds.
